COPRIME
Founded in 2015 as a SaaS business applications development company, Coprime has made their mobile business to business application for the wholesale sale-force their flagship product. It seamlessly and efficiently helps facilitate real time mobile ordering, cataloguing, shipping, billing, tracking, as well as servicing and customer follow-up.  The product’s mobility and clean design help speed up the commerce process, increase business productivity, and ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business. Within three short years, Coprime has become one of the top three leaders in the Cypriot market with now 70 clients, including a recently picked up UK based client. Coprime is prepping for their entry into the US market, soon to be realized.

NanoWeld
While initially developed for carbon fabrics, NanoWeld takes a stronger and lighter approach to carbon fiber construction that can benefit any textile. Compared to conventional carbon fiber, NanoWeld has an increase of 30% in improved tensile strength, 300% improved fracture toughness, and 30% weight savings for structural applications. These spectacular properties come from effective nanotechnology insertion and efficient consolidation with current textiles. This superior textile is produced in-house but can also be offered adjustable to any production line, leaving its applications vast and major with serious profits. NanoWeld looks to hold 10% of the initial carbon fiber production market within five years.

NIPD Genetics
Nicosia based NIPD Genetics was founded in 2010 as a spin-off from the Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics. They have since revolutionized the design, development, and manufacturing of vitro diagnostic services for non-invasive genetic testing. Employed in more than 20 countries, theirinnovative test for the detection of aneuploidies of chromosomes 21, 18, 13, X and Y, and microdeletions is not only more effective and accurate than other commonly practiced tests, it removes both the discomfort of these procedures and the chance for loss of pregnancy. Using a proprietary technology called “target capture enrichment technology” NIPD Genetics has seen success in the sale of services and technology transfer, and are looking to expand in the development and provision of new products in other areas of genetic diagnostics.

PROTOIO
PROTOIO Inc. is a SaaS-based company whose flagship product, Proto.io, has pioneered mobile application prototyping. Proto.io enables businesses to test and validate their app ideas early and cost-efficiently by creating realistic prototypes before starting development. Going beyond traditional wireframes and mockups, it is a remarkably versatile tool suitable for all types of digital products. Already reaching more than 600K subscribers, including multiple Fortune 500 brands, PROTOIO is using their success to branch out Overflow, a recently announced new application tailored for designers and user flow diagramming. Expansion is on the horizon as PROTOIO wants to broaden their team internationally and localize their product to other markets.

Stagedoor
With offices in both London and Cyprus, Stagedoor has become the premier application for London theater fans. An aggregation of in-depth information on all shows in the scene, booking, and user and critic reviews, this mobile application has already received over 22K downloads. The team has partnered with most of London’s venues and five of its biggest festivals, boasting a well designed interface from a team of both tech entrepreneurs and theater industry professionals. While currently creating revenue through customer acquisition and ticket sales commission, Stagedoor is moving towards an additional subscription service with professional profiles that can access the app’s acquired data. An expansion to New York is the immediate path, creating a bigger marketing platform and helping venues and theater makers reach the right audience.

Chrysalis LEAP is a Cleantech Accelerator based in Cyprus, with 5+ years of operation and numerous successful initiatives in a very exciting and innovative space. Since their kickoff back in 2013, they have become the leading Cleantech resource for entrepreneurs in Cyprus.
